Marta Jo Clifford (Wallenburg)

Marta Jo Clifford of Lompoc died on Sunday, July 8 2012. She was 61 years old. Marta was born at the San Diego Naval Base on July 25, 1950, to John and Elise Wallenburg. She was raised in post-war France and in Glendale, California.

Marta and her family moved to Lompoc in 1962, and she graduated from Lompoc High School in 1968. She attended Allan Hancock College and studied business. She was a medical records administrator at Lompoc Valley Medical Center. Marta attended Lompoc Foursquare Church. She was fond of her dogs.

Marta is survived by her son, Doren and his wife Crystal Reyes of Lompoc; brothers Steve Wallenburg of Chico and Scott Wallenburg of Nipomo; her sister Lisa Lundy of Atascadero; grandson Ashton Terry of Ridgecrest; and her father John Wallenburg of Grants Pass, Oregon. Her husband of 25 years, Raymond Clifford, preceded her in death in 2010. She was also preceded in death by her mother Elise Wallenburg.
